Lee Brooks is a technology marketer based in the high-tech hub of Waterloo, Ontario.
In September, 2018, he launched Cromulent Marketing, a boutique marketing agency specializing in crafting messaging, creating content, and managing public relations for B2B technology companies.
Since 2000, he worked in various high-tech roles – transitioning from engineering through product management and into product marketing – across a diverse range of organizations including start-ups, large corporations, and the Canadian Space Agency.
Until December 2017, he was the Director, Product Marketing, at Sandvine. This role afforded him the opportunity to travel much of the world to visit customers and prospects, to attend tradeshows, and to speak at conferences.
Lee is a graduate of the internationally recognized Computer Engineering program (with a specialization in Mechatronics Engineering) at the University of Waterloo, and is a proud member of the university’s President’s Circle of donors.
He is active within the local technology community, largely through Communitech, and can be found on the region’s soccer pitches and bike trails.
Before moving to Waterloo, Lee grew up in small-town Ontario, near the Big Apple.
Lee finds it a bit odd to write about himself in the third-person.

It’s a shame they went and painted a face on the big apple…
